Taking a family of four to an amusement, theme, or water park can cost a small fortune. Add in the cost of lunch, snacks, drinks, and extras and you’ll easily spend a couple of hundred dollars if not more!
You probably didn’t know that there’s a way to get free tickets to amusement parks, theme parks and water parks. In fact, not many people know about this method, and even if they’ve heard about it, probably don’t believe it.
Visit www.amusementadvantage.com. They are the only exclusive mystery shopping provider to the amusement industry (if you don’t know what mystery shopping is, read my article about mystery shopping for an explanation). Basically, the mystery shop company pays a shopper
(or in this case, provides free tickets) for observing customer service activities and then filling out a short report about their experience. I’m a Silver Certified mystery shopper with MSPA (Mystery Shoppers Providers Association) and probably have conducted nearly 100 mystery shops in my 10+ years of doing mystery shopping.

Amusement Advantage accepts applications from 49 states plus Canada. If you have no mystery shopping experience, there is an area on the application that asks what qualifications you have that would make you a good shopper. Be sure to explain how detail oriented you are and how you really notice customer service when you are out and about! You will also have a better chance of receiving shops if you say that you visit entertainment type facilities more than twice a year.
If the Company has a “shop” to be done in your area, you will be contacted, or, once you are a “shopper” of the Amusement Advantage, you can login to see what shops are available.
