Happy New Year to current and new MyMochaMoney.com readers! It was in November, 2008 that I started this blog and I’m thrilled to still be writing on it (over 260 posts now ) and have the readership that gives me the motivation to continue, so for that I am grateful to all of you.
Since this is the start of a brand new year, I thought it would be a great idea to include some new content I’ve been kicking around in my head for many months now. I’ve dedicated the blog to writing mostly about my greatest passion, finding legitimate work at home ideas that I’ve personally tried and know work, like practicing arbitrage using Amazon, finding items on Craigslist to resell, finding easy things to sell on eBay, and selling used books on Amazon. For the most part, I’ve stayed away from internet marketing topics and making money on the internet because there are so many great blogs and websites dedicated to this topic. That has been hard for me since I do make money from internet and online marketing (not much, but some) So, for 2013 I’ve decided to include it all and hopefully my experiences with learning, growing and profiting from internet marketing, as well as my other work at home ideas will benefit you.
I’m learning from other bloggers who are successful that being transparent in your writing is critical to growing your readership and forming a relationships with readers. I know I can do better at this. I plan to include the good, the bad, and the ugly of what I’m working on, the tools I’m using that work or don’t work, and how I’m getting it done when there is limited time in the day to do it. I’m hoping this will help you too, and if you have ideas or tools that could help others do a better job of earning REAL money at home, then please share it here on the blog so others can learn from you too!
I’m excited to bring you more content about working from home regardless of whether it’s internet marketing based, or selling clothes at a consignment shop that pays cash upfront (see my post, “How to Make it an All Cash Christmas Dave Ramsey-Style“). One thing I haven’t done in the past, and will continue NOT to do, is recommend any product or service to my readers that I haven’t already tried and had success with, or know and trust the person whose products or services I might recommend. That is my continued promise to you.
In the upcoming weeks I hope to tweak the look of the website. It’s a new year so it’s time for a fresh look (I’ve already taken the blog from three columns to two…what do you think?)! Thanks again for stopping by and hope to have you as a regular reader and contributor of MyMochaMoney!
