Design Custom Rock & Roll T-Shirts–A Home Business That Rocks!

I just became aware of a really cool site called SpreadShirt Designer that allows you to design custom rock & roll t-shirts for yourself, or to sell in your own SpreadShirt Designer shop (OK. I know I only have two shirts in my shop so far (I like yoga symbols so I made a “yoga” shirt) but I just signed up today).

OK, I have to come clean… you can actually design ANY type of t-shirt your heart desires; I just happen to be in the market for a cool rock & roll t-shirt for my son that plays drums at Paul Green’s School of Rock. My son wanted something different from the same old stale designs you find on the t-shirts in the mall or any of the larger department stores.

rock shirt With SpreadShirt Designer, I was able to MAKE my own shirt for him by picking out a rock and roll design out of HUNDREDS of designs (I just did a search for “ rock and roll”), picked the one I thought my son might like (I do need to run it by him though before I purchase it), and simply added it to a t-shirt that I picked (do you like the shirt I “designed” on the left?). It took me about nine minutes from start to finish–including signing up for my own FREE SpreadShirt Designer shop where I can earn commissions by selling the shirts I create. Crazy, isn’t it? All I wanted to do was design a cool rock & roll t-shirt for my son, and nine minutes later, I have a shop and I’m in business. Talk about a cool home business!? And like CafePress, you can choose other items to put your designs on like caps and mugs and more.

HOW HARD IS IT TO DESIGN A CUSTOM ROCK & ROLL T-SHIRT?

I should have asked, “How easy is it to design a t-shirt with SpreadShirt Designer?”

Designing custom rock & roll t-shirts is beyond easy with Spreadshirt Designer. In fact, I should have had my ten-year old son design his own shirt–or my five-year old daughter. Believe me, she could have done it!

There are only five steps to the sign up process. Like I said above, I was able to sign up AND make a shirt in about nine minutes. However, there are SO many designs you can choose from that it may take you longer if you want to spend some time looking through their design showcase.

Or any type of custom design t-shirt or assortment of products. If you know your way around a graphics program, then you can also upload your own designs and use them instead of picking one of the ready-made designs.

You can even let others use your designs and you get paid. Very cool if you want to make some extra money using your creative side!

You basically just pick a product, choose a design, add text if you want to (truly making it your own design), and you’re done!
