I did this once at the North Face outlet store. They were closing many of their stores and so I bought about 50 very popular jackets at a steep discount. Also, some hats, backpacks, and accessories. Then I sold them on eBay at about 40% profit. I happened to enjoy the whole process, learned much about selling at eBay and made money at the same time. I also did it with Burberry scarves, but instead of outlet stores I bought from a NY distributor directly. It was much more work and I didn't make as much money. Wow, there are so many fakes and the learning curve was tricky for that fashion item. So, I moved on to another niche. These experiences led into some eBay seller marketing tools I made such as <a href="http://www.clickriches.com" title="build your own marketplace" rel="nofollow">ClickRiches</a>. This allows eBay sellers to build their own marketplace for free so they can earn more money from affiliate income and drive more traffic to their eBay listings. The service is under development, but we're taking signups meanwhile. So, the next time you find a killer deal at an outlet store and you know you can make selling the items on eBay... then pull out that platinum credit card and max it out! Maybe you'll earn flyer miles at the same time. I sure did! Also, sign up at ClickRiches to earn as an eBay affiliate AND a seller.
